Hi there. I have recently noticed that I have a small, white skin tag like growth underneath the opening of my vagina. There is only one and the skin around it seems to be normal. It does not itch burn or sting in any way. It is also soft. I'm not sure what it is. Please help as I am really worried! Its a strange little thing, almost like a tiny white flap (imagine a pin worm). There is no redness around it. As far as I can see it doesn't look like HPV, but I know I can't rule anything out.And i av recently notoced also dat its kind of spreeding. but my doctor didnt say anything bad about it... plz help

Reply:First you said it is only one, and then you said it is spreading. Do you mean the one is getting larger, or you're getting more? By underneath, do you mean just inside your vagina or in the perineum? If it's just inside your vagina and looks like a skin tag, it might just be the remnant of your hymen. That happens to a lot of women. It won't hurt anything and it's not dangerous. See your doctor again and ASK.

ive been growing these hard growths(ball like) things under my skin over the past few years. its hard 2 explain but, ive gotten about 7 in my body so far including 1 in my index finger n 2 in my neck. my docter said just not to touch it, but its not going away what should i do? plz help.

My cousin had that. His were benign cysts however. He had a couple in his neck. You should insist that you be x-rayed. If you're doc won't listen get another doc.

Very hard growth under the skin of my palm?

About 2 months ago I discovered that there is a weird growth of somesort under the skin of my right palm. It is not painful and it does not affect the skin surface. The growth is about 2 inches by 1/2 inch and in the center of my palm running at an angle starting at below my ring finger towards my forefinger, but again it's down in the center of my palm. The growth is very hard and feels like a series of lumps connected together. As best as I can recall, I noticed it for the 1st time after a round of golf. Any ideas?

I had something very similar several years ago. It was a hard lump in the same place you are talking about. I went to the doctor and he said it was a calcification and it has dissolved on its own as he said it would. I would still recommend that you get it checked. Your situation could be something totally different. I'd hate to think that you would ignore something that unusual on your body and find out later that it was detrimental to your health.

Small growth under skin between testicals and rectum?

This is kind of embarrassing, and this is the 1st time i have ever used this service. But i was giving myself a examine in the shower the other day. And i noticed the skin between my testicals and rectum (taint) has a small pea size growth under the skin. It is very hard at the touch. Does anyone have any idea's what this could be? You cant see it above the skin you can only feel it just under the skin. Thank You

Reply:Its likely that it is just a ingrown hair. However I would continue to keep an eye on it.
Reply:Urologist say that it normally happens to young men between 13-21. But, it needs to be determine exactly what it is before they can determine how to dissolve it. My friends son had it at 21, and had to have a sonogram (sort of uncomfortable, but had to be done). Go to , or call your parents for help.
