I can not find any web site that answer the what is the pain involved in cellulitis?

my mother has been getting treatment for cellulities her pain is so severe in her legs is it the healing, the meds or something else? she has had antibiotics, we go once a week for her doctor to check and rewrap her legs. they say she is healing and she only has new skin growth were her wounds were. does the weeping ever stops. she is so miserable being locked in the house she is afraid to go out and now her walking has worsen what do we do next were do we go her doctor says that she will be wearing jobe stocking and try to get her into some therapy she is 80 and a diabetic, she had open heart surgery several years ago and no one told us about her legs would swell. we could have address this right away instead of waiting until these wounds showed up. everytime she had her legs wrapped she would go home and take them off, now that we have changes locations she has kept them on but said the hurt the doctor stated she needs to leave them on to help the circulation is there other op
