I am male, 23, and have had this issue since I've started growing facial hair.
The area above my lip is dark. After I shave my entire face (cream and razor) the skin is just dark in that area and makes it look like I have a permanent moustache. I have to shave my upper lip with an electric shaver daily otherwise with the hair growth and dark skin it looks really bad.
What is the medical term for this and what type of procedure, if any, can be done to make the area the same as the rest of my face? Also, what is the typical cost to complete the procedure?

a good quality skin lightening cream can get rid of that dark pigmentation.
