What does it mean if an unborn baby has a growth of skin over its face on the ultrasound?

Did you ask the tech when you were having the ultrasound done?

If a tech sees any problems during an ultrasound they go get a doctor right away to confirm things. You don't need to wait for the "results" of an obstetric ultrasound.

Having said that I'm not sure exactly how you would see this, ultrasounds look "inside" generally, they don't "see" skin as such (otherwise, the mother's skin would get in the way and they'd see nothing at all)

Ask the doctor for more information.

i'm not sure maybe you can talk to your dr and see if they can explain it to you
Reply:the person who preformed the ultrasound should have explained it all,its not nice to not know anything about your baby.
