Help!!! I just noticed this pinkish growth on my shih tzu's skin. it's above his mouth beside his nose, quite a big one.. what could it be?

My 17 year old shih tzu has these, too. They started when she was about 10. When I took her to the vet, he said they were harmless cysts. They can be frozen off or removed surgically. Check with your vet and see what he thinks it is.
Reply:probably a skin tag or a wart but you may want to have it removed and if your vet thinks it should be sent in for analysis i would go for it.
